The Cooperative Engineering Education (Co-op) Program is
an academic program that allows undergraduate students to obtain up to one year of
full-time engineering experience before they graduate. Traditionally,
students alternate three work semesters with school, or they may choose to
participate in our two-term Co-op Program where they can work two semesters
back-to-back.
Why should your company participate?
• Save budget dollars by hiring students to perform relevant
engineering tasks
• Preview potential permanent employees
• Participate in both academic and on-the-job career preparation of engineering
students
• Enhance your company image with exposure via the Co-op Office and students
• Establish a cooperative relationship with The University of Texas at Austin
Want to know more?
Please review the student requirements
and our employer expectations for more
information about the Program. If you are certain that the Co-op Program
would be a great asset to your company then you are ready to start
recruiting co-ops!
