What is externship?
The Externship Program is an opportunity for students to spend one day with an engineering company during the winter break. You get to see first-hand what professionals, in your major, do on a daily basis.

Why should I participate?
·  Meet and network with engineering professionals
·  Observe the company's culture and operations
·  Explore interest and work expectations within the company

Who can participate?
·
Externship is open to all currently enrolled undergraduate
engineering students, except those graduating December 2009.

·
The student is responsible for providing his/her own transportation.

I already registered, what do I do next?
·
Make sure you received and thoroughly reviewed the automated
    e-mail confirmation.
·  Attend an Externship Information Session to learn more about
making the most of your visit.
·  Watch for an e-mail around the middle of November
with instructions on how to select an Externship employer.
·  You will choose an employer site on a first-come, first-served basis
    starting in late-November.

Questions? Contact Natalie Clogston, Externship Coordinator at n.clogston@mail.utexas.edu or (512) 471-5954.
