ECAC has a
three strike policy, similar to policies at other career
centers, which is designed to protect the integrity of the
Cockrell School of Engineering, ECAC, and UT engineering students.
|
Two ways to receive a strike:
- Fail to choose an interview time
after being selected as a primary interview candidate by
a company
- Fail to show for interview after
choosing an interview time ("No-Show")
Each strike places a temporary bar on
a student's record preventing the student from using ECAC's
interactive services. The student must speak with a
counselor to remove the bar.
A student
who accumulates three strikes will be prohibited from using
the interviewing system.
|
Quick Tips:
- A student is not obligated to
interview with a company if the student did not submit a
resume to that company
- Students must talk to an ECAC
counselor to cancel an interview
